COMPANY PROFILE: The Krislin Company was formed in 1992 to produce animated product for television, direct to video, and multimedia applications. Walt Kubiak, the company founder, is an industry veteran with more than 28 years of experience in the animation and interactive entertainment industries. Under Walt’s direction, the Krislin Company has produced numerous episodic television programs, animated television specials, CD-ROM’s interactive products as well as a number of television commercials, development projects, and animated television openings. We have provided directing/pre-production services for more than 400 animated television episodes. The Krislin Company is best known for its high quality animation products and its ability to finish every project on time and on budget. From its headquarters in the growing high-tech Los Angeles district of Calabasas, Krislin is currently involved in world-wide production of animated television series, specials and interactive entertainment products.

CGI: In 2000, the focus of the company moved from traditional 2d animation production to CGI production when The Krislin Company partnered with Toronto-based Elliott Animation to form Krislin/Elliott Digital to produce high quality CGI animated product. Our first production together was 52 11 minute episodes of Michael Bedard's "Sitting Ducks" which we produced for Universal Pictures Visual Programming and is now enjoying worldwide broadcasting success as well as currently airing on Cartoon Network in the USA. We currently are in production on "Balloonatiks". We are producing 26 10 minute episodes for KidsWB! with an additional 26 10 minute episodes for worldwide distribution.

We are also producing "Room to Grow" with our Production partners, Digital Global Company. "Room to Grow" is the story of "Kinderlings," small creatures that live in the flowerbeds and tend to the needs of the Earth Garden. We have completed a 26 minute Direct to Video feature with a series of 26 30 minute episodes to come.

Currently in production is "Psi-Kix" again with our production partner DTI. 26 episodes are in the offering featuring teenagers with physic powers who can move robots!

ANIMATION: Krislin is involved in the production of traditionally animated television programming, producing high quality television specials, series, and direct to video features. Krislin has make significant investment in high-tech tools to increase both the speed and cost-effectiveness of the production process including a complete digital paint and composite suite as well as in-house non-linear digital editing. INTERACTIVE MEDIA: In 1994 Krislin opened its multi-media division to further expand the market for its creative resources. The Company is currently involved in a multi-product, multi-platform development deal for products featuring Mercer Mayer’s characters to be published by GT interactive. It has also developed products for Microsoft Corporation, Digital Domain, and Disney Interactive, Krislin’s experience in character design, property development, high-quality graphics and audio have naturally moved over into the interactive realm. Krislin’s current growth strategy includes further expansion in the following areas of interactive media: · 3-D animation for both pre-rendered and real time rendered applications. · Interactive Audio integration and spatial design. · Development of proprietary game engines · Internal Alpha testing capabilities. MANAGEMENT: Walt Kubiak, President. Walt entered the animation industry almost 25 years ago and has since provided products for every major U.S. Television network and syndication company. He has also served on the staff of most of the major U.S. animation studios. Mr. Kubiak’s experience in animated programming has made him one of the most sought after producers in his field. He is perhaps best known as having been the executive in charge of production for Fred Wolf Films between 1987 and 1993 as supervising producer of the hit series. TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES and as producer of THE SMURFS both of which received Emmy nominations. Walt has to his credit over 700 half-hours of programming in the roll of Producer, Director, or Writer.

OUR PARTNERS : Krislin/Elliott Digital Inc. Elliott Digital Inc. and Elliott Animation Inc. provide a full range of 3D-CGI animation, 2D animation and 2D Flash animation production services for major North American studios from its home base in downtown Toronto.

FOUNDER: George Elliott brings more than four hundred screen credits and twenty years of animation industry technical and artistic experience to bear on behalf of his clients. He has produced, directed, art directed and supervised animation for television, direct-to-video features, CD-ROM games and television commercials.

ANIMATION HISTORY: George Elliott began as a freelance animation artist in 1984, working for Nelvana and a variety of Canadian and US based animation studios. By the late 1980s he had created a successful home based studio in Brampton, Ontario. In 1997, due to increased client demand, George created, Pictor Entertainment a 4000 square foot studio in Toronto with a staff of 15. Pictor would expand past its core creative staff to as many as 100 full time and freelance animation artists. In 2000, George Elliott re-branded as Elliott Animation Inc., for 2D and Flash productions as well as Elliott Digital Inc. and Krislin/Elliott Digital Inc for 3D computerized animation. During productions such as "Sitting Ducks" the staff expands to over 80 CGI Artists, Programmers and support staff.

ELECTRONIC INFRASTRUCTURE: Krislin/Elliott Digital has made a significant investment in the high-tech tools and electronic infrastructure to increase both the speed and cost effectiveness of all their 2D and 3D productions. In house they have over 75 CGI workstations. Their internal post-production facility includes 11 compositing stations, digital video decks, audio assembly and non-linear editing systems both in Toronto and at Krislin in Los Angeles.

George Elliott, artist, animator, director, and creative head of Elliott Animation Inc. and Krislin/Elliott Digital Inc. George has earned more than three hundred screen credits as a producer, director, art director, character designer, key poser, and layout artist. His projects have included 2D and 3D animation series for television, direct-to-video features, CD-ROM games and television commercials. As a writer, his children’s books include Barker McGee, Digger and An Aardvark Flew an Airplane.

Brian Irving, producer, screenwriter and former journalist. As a producer his projects include "Redline" a sci-fi thriller, which he co-wrote starring Rutger Hauer. Also "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" Deadly Past" and "Bad Blood". As a writer his screenplays include, Showtime’s "Sabrina the Teenage Witch" starring Melissa Joan Hart and "Nostradamus" for the Sc-Fi Channel, staring Joely Fisher and Rob Estes. Also, the HBO Premier films "Bad Blood", "Deadly Past" and "Sabotage".
